Die Karte zeigt die Deutschen, Britischen, Französischen, Niederländischen und Spanischen Besitzungen (Kolonien). Eingezeichnet wurden weiterhin die Deutschen Konsulate, Deutsche Dampferlinien, Dampferlinien anderer Nationen, Kabel und Überland-Telegraphen, Eisenbahnen und Höhen in Meilen.

Auf der Karte finden zahlreiche Einzelkarte. Das sind Samoa- oder Schiffer-Inseln hier mit einem Maßstab: 1: 850 000, Upolu, Tutuila-Insel, Manua-Insel, Rose Insel, Neu-Guinea mit dem Kaiser Wilhelms Land, dem Bismarck-Archipel, den Admiralitäts Inseln, Neu-Hannover, Neu-Mecklenburg (Neu-Irland) Neu-Pommern (Neu-Britannien), Neiafu auf Vavau, Neu-Lauenburg, Jaluit auf Jaluit (Marshall-Inseln), Tonga oder Freundschaftsinseln, Viti Levu (Fidschi-Inseln) und Hawaii.

Auf der Karte finden wir auch einen Größenvergleich mit dem abgebildeten Königreich Sachsen.
